Let’s get started.
For over twelve years, I’ve helped students with essays, applications, and language arts. I love helping young people develop a passion for reading, writing, and effective communication.
I graduated cum laude from Harvard-Westlake School. In my senior year, I wrote a 40-page thesis on The Waves by Virginia Woolf and received the Senior Academic Award for most outstanding student in English. Afterward, I studied English literature at Brown University, where I won the Barbara Banks Brodsky Prize for best essay on 20th-century literature.
At Brown, I served as a Head Fellow for the Writing Fellows Program. I dedicated hundreds of hours to helping undergraduate and graduate students write better essays. I also consulted for the university’s English for International Teaching Assistants Program, teaching English to international graduate students and TAs.
After graduation, I worked for Ivy Labs Education near Yale University, mentoring high school students and overseeing mock interviews and application essays. I also worked at C2 Education in Los Angeles, teaching SAT/ACT, SSAT/ISEE, English, math, history, Spanish, and science.
My students have been admitted to some of the finest schools in the world, including Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia, Stanford, and UC Berkeley.
All students are welcome. Sessions are conducted online.
Writing an essay is like driving a car—it seems hard at first, but it becomes easy. How? With a good instructor.
Application essays allow students to convey who they are and what they want. Let's help them tell their story.
The language arts "enable a person to rise above his material environment to live [...] a free life in gaining truth." I'll teach your child how to live that freedom.
